Zusammenfassung

RIVR, part of Amazon in Zürich, Switzerland, is seeking a SLAM Engineer to advance localization and mapping for real-time robot navigation. You will fuse camera, LiDAR, IMU, and GNSS data to deliver robust online and offline SLAM, with production-grade C++ and Python prototypes.

You'll work on deploying SLAM algorithms on hardware, contribute to calibration systems, and help create deployment-ready code for autonomous door-to-door robots.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of industry or research experience.
• Background in computer vision, robotics or autonomous driving with 3D SLAM/LiDAR or related areas.
• Strong mathematical fundamentals: linear algebra, calculus, probability, optimization.
• Production-level C++ with Python prototyping.
• Experience deploying SLAM on hardware.

Aufgaben

• Develop online and offline localization and SLAM algorithms by fusing cameras, LiDARs, IMU, GNSS, and other sensors.
• Design, validate, and improve algorithms on real-world data.
• Contribute to dynamic mapping using data from ongoing deployments.
• Assist in robust sensor calibration systems for complex environments.
• Support workflow to capture ground truth data and maps for evaluation.
• Implement deployment-ready code optimized for robot hardware.
• Create and maintain documentation and best practices.
