You will design and implement online and offline SLAM solutions, fuse multimodal sensor data, and contribute to deployment‑ready code optimized for the robot’s compute limits. Collaborative research and hands‑on hardware work are expected.

Qualifikationen

• What you must have: master’s degree in Robotics, ML, CS, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of industry or research experience.
• Background in computer vision, robotics or autonomous driving, incl. 3D visual or LiDAR SLAM, place recognition, structure from motion, filtering, or Bayesian estimation.
• Strong math fundamentals: linear algebra, calculus, probability, optimization.
• Ability to write production-grade C++ and prototype efficiently in Python.
• Experience deploying SLAM/localization on hardware.

Aufgaben

• Develop state-of-the-art online and offline localization and SLAM by fusing cameras, LiDARs, IMU, GNSS, and other sensors.
• Design, validate, and improve algorithms on real-world data.
• Contribute to dynamic environment mapping from ongoing robot deployments.
• Assist in robust sensor calibration systems for complex environments.
• Support efficient workflows to capture ground truth data and maps for evaluation.
• Contribute to deployment-ready code for real robot, optimized for compute constraints.
• Create and maintain documentation and best practices for knowledge sharing.
