Job summary

Commodities Engineering Sàrl in Plan-les-Ouates seeks an autonomous Finance Specialist to manage day-to-day accounting for the group and coordinate with Swiss, Spanish and British trustees. You will deliver clean accounts on time and provide management with clear financial insights.

The role covers invoicing, payables, treasury, payroll coordination across three jurisdictions, and monthly closings. Fluency in French and English is essential; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Swiss VAT and social-security knowledge required.
• Fluent French and professional English; Spanish is an asset.
• 5+ years of general accounting in Switzerland with full cycle experience.
• Autonomy, rigour, prioritization and discretion.
• Experience with Bexio or similar ERP and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Client invoicing and collection: record monthly platform consumption, consolidate data, issue invoices in Bexio, track receivables and reminders.
• Accounts payable: collect invoices, post them per rules, prepare supplier payments for management approval.
• Banking and treasury: import/reconcile statements, match payments, update cash-flow forecasts, flag funding needs.
• Payroll: prepare Swiss payroll, coordinate with British/Spanish payroll providers, post charges in Bexio, ensure social-security deadlines.
• Closings and trustee coordination: monthly closings, VAT returns, reconcile intercompany balances, monthly management briefing.
• Administration: expense claims, tracking subscriptions, filing and archiving.
