Job summary

Open Systems AG in Zürich, Switzerland, seeks a software-focused professional to design and develop internal tools, scripts, automations, and APIs for the Implementation team. You will work closely with Implementation Engineers and cross-functionally with Development and SRE to translate operational challenges into reliable solutions.

Beyond development, you’ll support day-to-day operations, liaising with customers and technology teams to deliver practical improvements and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of working experience.
• Code literacy in GO, Python, Java, C, or C++.
• Experience automating recurring tasks.
• Good mix of technology and communication skills.
• Demonstrated willingness to learn through training programs.
• Proficient in English; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop internal tools, scripts, automations and APIs for the Implementation team.
• Collaborate with Implementation Engineers to identify recurring operational challenges and create scalable solutions.
• Support day-to-day operations while staying close to customers and technology.
• Collaborate with Development and SRE teams to define needs and deliver practical improvements.
