Zusammenfassung

agap2 in Basel, Switzerland, is looking for an Automation Engineer to design, implement and qualify automation systems in GMP environments. You will work on PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES projects and collaborate with engineering, production and quality teams.

With at least 2 years in pharma or life sciences, you will support FAT/SAT, validation activities and continuous improvement, while applying data integrity and GMP/GAMP5 principles. English is essential; German is a strong advantage.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or related field.
• Minimum 2 years in GMP-regulated pharma/biotech/life sciences environments.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS or MES systems.
• Knowledge of automation systems and OT networks; experience with Siemens/Rockwell/Emerson DeltaV or Syncade is a plus.
• Understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills; ability to work independently.
• Good English communication; German is a strong advantage.

Tasks

You will work on the design, implementation, qualification and improvement of automation systems in GMP-regulated environments. Depending on your background, your expertise may focus on PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES or industrial networks.

You will collaborate with engineering, production, quality and validation teams on complex investment and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Automation, Electrical Engineering, Industrial IT or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical, biotechnology or life science environment.
• Professional experience with at least one of the following: PLC, SCADA, HMI, DCS, MES, industrial automation or OT networks.
• Knowledge of automation systems and industrial communication technologies.Experience with one or more platforms such as Siemens, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Emerson DeltaV or Syncade is an advantage.
• Understanding of GMP, GAMP 5, data integrity and qualification/validation principles.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently in a consulting and project-based environment.
• Good communication skills in English; German is a strong advantage.
