Jabil Switzerland is seeking an Automation design engineer (m/f/d) for an internship in Mezzovico, TI, Switzerland. You will design automation equipment across mechanical, electronics, electrical, or software domains and ensure manufacturability.

Reporting to the Automation and Digital manager, you will analyse requirements, liaise with manufacturers, and contribute to a global technology ecosystem. This internship offers a hands-on learning environment and a pathway to long-term professional

Qualifikationen

• M.Sc. in Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.

Aufgaben

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise, e.g., Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Software Application.
• Reviews, understands, and interprets requirements/specification accurately for integration into design of equipment/solution.
• Ensures design for manufacturability.
• Acts as liaison with internal and/or external Assemblers/manufacturer of equipment to ensure all parts are manufactured to the design.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Designs automation equipment in respective areas of expertise, e.g., Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Software Application.

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Functional knowledge of mechanical/electronics/electrical/software application engineering.
• Functional knowledge of mechanics manufacturing industries.
• Functional knowledge of automation equipment, assembly and installation.
• M.Sc. in Mechanical, Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
