• Assist in change and risk management, evaluate change requests, and monitor issues.
• Lead internal project meetings, document decisions, and ensure follow‑through on actions.
• Contribute to development and rollout of new tools, standards, and process improvements.

Position Summary

As Associate Project Manager in Completions Basel, you will support the Program Director in the execution of highly customized aircraft completion projects while taking ownership of selected sub-projects and PMO initiatives. This role is designed as a clear development position, offering progressive ownership and responsibility over time with the goal of growing into a full Project Manager role. You will drive internal coordination, scope, risk, and schedule tracking across the project lifecycle while working closely with cross‑functional teams and contributing to the continuous improvement of project management tools and processes.

Your role

• Drive project execution with structure and precision: Support the Program Director in the delivery of VIP aircraft completion projects while taking ownership of selected sub‑projects and PMO initiatives.
• Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams effectively: Work closely with Engineering, SCM, Production, Design, Sales, and PMO to help ensure timely execution in line with scope, milestones, and project objectives.
• Support planning and performance tracking: Monitor project progress, follow up on open items, prepare reporting, and help maintain visibility on schedules, risks, and priorities.
• Contribute to change and risk management: Support the evaluation of change requests and help track risks and issues throughout program execution.
• Run meetings and ensure follow‑through: Prepare and lead internal project meetings, document decisions, and make sure agreed actions are followed up in a timely manner.
• Help improve the way projects are managed: Contribute to the development and rollout of new tools, standards, and process improvements within Completion programs.
• Enable strong internal collaboration: Represent Jet Aviation as one company across cross‑functional teams and the broader Completions network, fostering alignment and effective teamwork.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, project management, engineering management, or a related field.
• Practical experience in aerospace, project management, sales, finance, or a related business environment.
• Good understanding of the aerospace industry, completions environment, and customer‑driven project execution.
• Sound knowledge of project management fundamentals; associate in project management (CAPM) certification is preferred.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong affinity for AI‑supported working methods and interest in contributing to modern ways of working.
• Professional written and spoken communication skills in English; German and French are an asset.
• Results‑driven, structured, and disciplined, with a reliable and accountable way of working.
