Jet Aviation in Basel, Switzerland is seeking an Associate Data Engineer to turn complex data into insights and innovative solutions. You will work with Microsoft Azure and Fabric to contribute to data engineering, analytics, ML, and enterprise ontology initiatives.

This role offers growth through collaboration with experienced specialists and global data-driven decision support. You will develop and optimize data pipelines, integrate data from multiple sources, and support scalable data models

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in data science or related field.
• Internships or projects showing data engineering experience.
• Foundational knowledge of ETL/ELT and data quality.
• SQL and Python proficiency.
• Familiarity with Azure and/or Fabric; experience with Azure Data Factory, Lakehouse, OneLake is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of ML, relational databases, and structured or semi-structured data.
• Interest in data governance, metadata management, and knowledge graphs.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and optimize data pipelines and data products using Azure, Fabric, Data Factory, Lakehouse, and OneLake.
• Integrate, transform, and validate data from multiple sources for reporting, analytics, ML, and AI apps.
• Support scalable data models and reusable analytical datasets.
• Improve data quality, documentation, metadata, and governance for reliable AI-ready data.
• Contribute to ML solutions, including data prep, feature engineering, testing, and evaluation.
• Help map business concepts and data sources to enterprise ontologies.
