Zusammenfassung

SKAN in Allschwil, Basel-Landschaft, is seeking an assembler for isolators and related systems. You will assemble isolators and subassemblies, ventilation components, and pneumatic systems, and perform tests using standard procedures.

You will also support installations at customer sites and assist the assembly manager on complex projects. The role requires a completed metalworking training, assembly experience in plant construction, and good technical understanding.

Qualifikationen

• Completed training in a metalworking profession (polymechanic, metalworker, etc.).
• Assembly experience in plant and equipment construction/engineering.
• Good technical understanding with working knowledge of P&ID (R&I) and pneumatics.
• Basic electrical knowledge desirable and MS Office proficiency.
• Valid car driving licence; fluent German with good English skills.

Responsibilities

• Professional and on-time assembly of isolators and their subassemblies
• Assembly of ventilation components and pneumatic system parts
• Detection and rectification of mechanical defects
• Carrying out assembly tests with adequate test procedures
• Support during installation of the isolators by the customer
• Supporting the assembly manager in complex and customer-specific plant construction projects

Hardskills

• Completed training in a metalworking profession, e.g. polymechanic, metalworker, car mechanic, electrician, apparatus fitter etc.
• Assembly experience in plant and equipment construction / engineering
• Good technical understanding
• Understanding of R&I and pneumatic diagrams
• Ideally basic knowledge of electrics
• Confident handling of MS-Office
• Driving licence for passenger cars
• Business fluent in German, good knowledge of English
