Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Laboratory Technician in Aquatic Ecotoxicology to support GLP-compliant testing and data management within the Ecotox Biology Department. You will set up and run static, semi-static and flow-through fish tests across OECD protocols, perform biochemical assays and maintain meticulous records.

The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work in a regulated CRO environment, and fluent English. German is advantageous; French is a plus.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in biology or related field preferred.
• License to work with animals LTK1 (LTK2) mandatory.
• Preferably 2 years in a GLP environment.
• Experience with fish keeping, handling, testing and sampling preferred.
• 2 years of aquaria maintenance and flow-through test systems preferred.
• 2 years of OECD fish testing in GLP CRO environment preferred.
• 2 years of biochemical assays, especially EIA, preferred.
• English fluent is mandatory; German fluent preferred; French asset.

Responsabilidades

• Perform GLP-compliant tests according to SOPs with accuracy and autonomy.
• Set up, maintain and run static, semi-static and flow-through fish tests per OECD protocols.
• Conduct biochemical tests (mainly EIA) on fish across OECDs.
• Draft/revise SOPs, calibrate equipment, and maintain laboratory space.
• Operate and maintain automated and manual flow-through systems.
• Collect, observe, and biometrically data, sample biological materials.
• Process data using various software and report progress clearly and concisely.
