Zusammenfassung

Google LLC in Zürich, Switzerland seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) in Applied AI to own end-to-end engineering from prototype to production, focusing on conversational AI pilots at client sites. You will deliver scalable, secure AI solutions and collaborate with the GTM and Cloud teams across Vertex AI and other Google AI products.

You will work with DeepMind engineers and enterprise partners, driving business value while maintaining high performance and reliability.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development using Python or similar coding languages.
• Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms (GCP).
• Experience deploying resources using Terraform or similar tools, to automate the setup of agents, functions, or networking.
• Experience building full-stack applications that interact with enterprise IT infrastructures, and developing external customer projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead delivery of Conversational AI pilots and production-grade agent workflows.
• Architect and code conversational flows that bridge Google's AI products with customers’ live infrastructure.
• Build high-performance Eval pipelines and observability frameworks to optimize agent workloads and reduce latency.
• Identify repeatable field patterns and friction points in Google’s AI stack and convert them into reusable modules.
• Co-build with customer engineering teams to ensure long-term project success and adoption.
