Job summary

CSL’s Bern Analytical Testing (BAT) Team in the Technical Operations Department is seeking a Scientist with a solid understanding of biological and chemistry analytical method principles. The role focuses on method optimization, transfer, data analysis, and collaboration with CSL sites globally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' laboratory experience in molecular/biochemical analysis or related fields.
• Proactive, detail oriented with ability to multi-task and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contributes technology platform capabilities to achieve project objectives.
• Coordinates global and local R&D projects with CSL sites and external partners.
• Applies scientific input for root-cause analysis and process development activities.
• Designs and conducts studies, analyzes data, and reports results with high scientific integrity.
• Evaluates, optimizes and implements analytical technology to enhance sample testing efficiency.
