TMC Basel is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our high-tech consultancy team, responsible for the design, development, and certification of electrical systems for aerospace projects. You will lead electrical activities across projects, collaborate with certification teams, and ensure safety, quality, and timeliness from concept to production.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related aeronautical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in aircraft electrical engineering and project/team management.
• Proficient with CAD tools (AutoCAD, TeamCenter) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent communicator with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English (French and/or German is a plus).

Aufgaben

• Lead and support electrical activities throughout assigned projects.
• Conduct surveys and validate technical assumptions for quotations.
• Design system architectures and select compliant components (RTCA DO-160, DO-178).
• Collaborate with certification teams to define and implement compliance strategies.
• Produce and maintain engineering drawings aligned with project milestones.
• Work closely with suppliers to define interfaces and ensure seamless integration.
• Identify risks, propose technical improvements, and troubleshoot challenges to keep timelines on track.
• Contribute to testing, reporting, and certification documentation.
• Act as project lead for electrical activities and support the Electrical Leader when needed.
