Job summary

Artificialy SA in Switzerland seeks an AI Scientist to design and deliver LLM-based solutions for financial clients. You will own solution design and evaluation within project teams, collaborating with engineers, infrastructure, and domain experts to integrate outcomes into enterprise ecosystems and present results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

You must be onsite at least 80% of the time and be based in Switzerland or willing to relocate.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of working experience as AI Scientist or in a similar role or PhD.
• Strong programming skills (Python, SQL) and strong experience with ML libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, etc.).
• Hands-on experience building LLM-based systems (RAG, agents, fine-tuning, or similar).
• Experience designing evaluations for ML/LLM systems (benchmarks, LLM-as-judge, error analysis).
• Strong communication and presentation skills to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proficiency in English.

• Span the full lifecycle of LLM-based initiatives, from early experimentation and solution design through evaluation, delivery, and continuous improvement.
• Handle projects involving retrieval-augmented generation, agentic systems, fine-tuning, LLM-based evaluation frameworks, or other applied generative-AI solutions.
• Own solution design and evaluation methodology within project teams, collaborating with software engineering, infrastructure, and domain experts to integrate solutions into enterprise ecosystems and present results to stakeholders.

We are looking for a AI Scientist, who will work with clients in the financial sector to design and develop LLM-based solutions from early experimentation through to evaluation and delivery. You will own solution design and evaluation methodology within a project team, across a varied project portfolio.

You must be willing to work onsite at least 80% of the time. Candidates must be based in Switzerland or willing to relocate to Switzerland.

About the Role
