Job summary

AWS EMEA SARL (Switzerland Branch) is seeking a Delivery Consultant specializing in Data for the Healthcare and Life Sciences practice. You will design and implement modern data platforms and production-grade data pipelines to empower AI-ready environments.

You will work with regulated data, data lineage, and governance frameworks across complex pharma and healthcare landscapes. Join our global ProServe team to drive AI transformations with secure data architectures, ontology and knowledge graph

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, and/or data platform development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in modern data platform design patterns, including lakes, lakehouses, data mesh, zero-ETL and streaming patterns.
• Experience with ontologies and knowledge graphs in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement production-grade data pipelines, data lakes, lakehouses, and data mesh architectures within enterprise HCLS environments.
• Build data products serving multiple downstream applications, ensuring data quality and lineage at scale.
• Operate autonomously within fast-moving delivery engagements, making architecture decisions without constant oversight.
• Navigate data access, security, and privacy requirements including HIPAA and GxP compliance constraints.
• Architect contextual knowledge layers, including ontologies and knowledge graphs to empower AI agents.
• Collaborate across teams to secure data access and resolve data quality challenges.
• Deliver iteratively when requirements are ambiguous, translating needs into well-architected data solutions.
