Job summary

Lonza Group Ltd. in Basel, Switzerland seeks an AI Product Manager to lead AI-enabled initiatives across Development & Technology Transfer.

You will work with scientists, engineers and manufacturing SMEs to identify AI opportunities, translate challenges into product requirements, and drive AI-enabled processes from development through tech transfer to manufacturing readiness. You will collaborate across modalities and functions, maintain a prioritized backlog, and report progress to

Qualifications

• Experience in Process Development or technology transfer in biopharma.
• Experience with digital, data or AI-enabled products or solutions.
• Strong understanding of biopharma process development, scale-up and tech transfer.
• Able to work credibly with scientists, engineers, MSAT and manufacturing teams.
• Comfortable working across modalities and identifying opportunities for reuse.

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end development and technology transfer lifecycle from process development to manufacturing readiness.
• Identify AI opportunities to improve process understanding, prediction and decision-making beyond digitizing activities.
• Translate challenges into AI product requirements with AI Engineering, Data Science and platform teams.
• Plan and facilitate Fusion Team delivery rhythm with a prioritized backlog of high-value work.
• Drive opportunities through lifecycle stages, ensuring deliverables and evidence for stage-gate decisions.
• Develop AI product and delivery expertise and share insights with other AI Product Managers.
• Support AI Product Lead with roadmap alignment and stakeholder reporting.
