Job summary

Lonza is seeking an AI Product Manager – Development & Technology Transfer to lead AI opportunities across process development and tech transfer. You will translate scientific challenges into AI product requirements and orchestrate Fusion Teams with engineers, scientists and SMEs to drive measurable outcomes.

You will support roadmap alignment, stakeholder reporting, and maintain visibility of AI opportunity progress across the organization.

Qualifications

• Experience in Process Development, MSAT, Technology Transfer, Manufacturing Science/Engineering or a closely related biopharma area.
• Experience with digital, data or AI-enabled products/solutions.
• Strong understanding of biopharmaceutical process development, scale-up and technology transfer.
• Able to work credibly with scientists, engineers, MSAT and manufacturing teams.
• Comfortable working across different modalities and identifying opportunities for reuse.
• Strong scientific and analytical mindset.
• Able to challenge assumptions and connect patterns across processes and modalities.

Responsibilities

• Leads AI products and opportunities across Development & Technology Transfer.
• Orchestrates cross-functional Fusion Teams to deliver measurable outcomes with business product owners and scientific SMEs.
• Translate scientific and process challenges into AI product requirements with AI Engineering and Data teams.
• Plan and facilitate delivery rhythm of the Fusion Team with a prioritized backlog.
• Drive opportunities through lifecycle stages ensuring deliverables and evidence for stage-gate decisions.
• Support roadmap alignment and stakeholder reporting to keep AI progress visible.
