Nicoll Curtin is seeking a Platform Engineer to join a growing infrastructure team in Basel. The role focuses on building, operating, and enhancing the technology foundation powering AI and data-driven initiatives.

You will architect and deploy platform services for AI workloads, manage Kubernetes-based environments, and develop automation for provisioning, configuration, and monitoring. Strong Linux, scripting, and observability skills are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in platform engineering, systems administration, or infrastructure operations within enterprise environments.
• Strong Linux administration, ideally within Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments.
• Hands-on scripting and automation using Python, Bash/Shell, or Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes, Terraform or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and DCGM.

Aufgaben

• Architect, deploy, and optimise platform services for AI, ML, and GPU workloads.
• Manage and enhance containerised environments using Kubernetes and cloud-native tech.
• Develop automation solutions for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and platform lifecycle management.
• Ensure platform reliability via monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and incident management.
• Support production environments through operational readiness activities and on-call participation.
