ETH Zürich in Lugano is seeking a Platform Automation Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and document HPC/AI services on a multi-tenant infrastructure. The role focuses on developing automation to provision, test, deploy, and monitor resources for HPC and AI workloads.

You will contribute to an evolving AI landscape, with responsibilities spanning platform services troubleshooting, tooling pipelines, and documentation to support cloud-like environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer engineering, computer science, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in deployment of HPC, AI, or Cloud infrastructures.
• Knowledge of automation tools and CI/CD processes and ecosystem.
• Linux administration skills.

Aufgaben

• Investigating, troubleshooting, and debugging platform services and infrastructure resources.
• Developing, maintaining, and supporting tools and pipelines to support platforms on a geographically redundant infrastructure.
• Developing automations to provision, test, deploy, and monitor resources to support the needs of HPC and AI platforms.
• Supporting, documenting, and sharing knowledge of tools, and procedures.
