Job summary

Pictet in Geneva is seeking a Compliance Officer to join the Compliance Control Testing team, focusing on AML, cross-border activities, investor protection and market abuse monitoring. You will analyse Swiss, European and international provisions and propose improvements and position statements tied to operational controls.

The ideal candidate has a university degree in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance, at least five years’ experience in banking, and strong English/French writing

Qualifications

• University degree in Internal Audit, Risk Management or Compliance.
• At least five years’ experience in a similar role in banking.
• Good knowledge of compliance environment and related risks (market conduct, cross-border, investor protection).
• Experience using AI tools to optimise processes is a plus.
• Strong written and spoken English and French; German is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Developing control testing in line with Group methods to cover major compliance risks.
• Performing control testing to ensure controls are efficiently performed by first line of defense.
• Formalising testing results and proposing action plans to stakeholders.
• Identify and implement AI-driven solutions to optimise workflows and monitoring processes.
• Interact with first line of defense to discuss attention points and plans.
• Provide ideas to improve methodology in collaboration with Group teams.
• Prepare KPIs and KRIs based on controls performed.
• Act as contact for Internal/External Audit.
