iet in Zurich seeks an AI Engineer to support migrating applications to a new identity and authentication platform. You will build reusable AI capabilities, automation tools, and engineering best practices that speed the migration and enable teams to adopt AI effectively.

You will collaborate with infrastructure, platform, and DevOps, design AI architectures and guardrails, and mentor teams in AI-driven development. Fluency in English required.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), structured extraction, tool/function calling, and agentic workflows
• Proven track record building AI-powered automation solutions, agents, or workflows within large-scale projects and enterprise environments
• Strong practical experience with GitHub Copilot and similar AI-assisted software development tools
• Solid software engineering background with the ability to develop scalable, maintainable, and reusable solutions
• Experience in DevOps and automation engineering, working closely with infrastructure and platform teams
• Strong understanding of data pipelines and the ability to translate complex expert knowledge into AI-enabled solutions
• Excellent communication, consulting, and mentoring skills, with experience introducing new tools, technologies, and ways of working
• Pragmatic, hands-on, and adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with changing priorities
• Fluency in English

Aufgaben

• Develop reusable AI capabilities that support multiple teams migrating applications to a new identity and authentication platform
• Design and implement AI-powered tools and automation solutions for configuration analysis and migration activities
• Build rapid proofs of concept and prototypes to validate use cases and demonstrate business value early
• Transform successful prototypes into reusable, maintainable components, APIs, and automation frameworks
• Define AI architecture, standards, guardrails, and best practices for AI-augmented software development
• Mentor and support engineering teams in adopting AI-driven development practices and modern tooling
• Prepare and deliver training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities related to AI technologies and methodologies
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, platform, and DevOps engineers to build data pipelines, AI agents, and automation workflows
