Job summary

Pictet in Geneva invites an EPFL master's student to join the Customised Reporting team for a 12-month academic placement. You will combine engineering, automation and AI skills to transform a largely manual reporting process into robust, scalable, AI-enabled solutions.

Collaborate with the Customised Solutions and data teams to design, build and test end-to-end data extraction, validation and automated reporting workflows, while documenting controls and handover.

Qualifications

• EPFL master’s student eligible for a 12-month internship.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Solid programming experience in Python and data manipulation.
• Practical knowledge of applied AI including LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation and model evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Map end-to-end customised reporting production model, including data flows, controls and risks.
• Identify and prioritise automation opportunities for data aggregation and reporting workflows.
• Collaborate with data teams to align solutions with architecture and governance requirements.
• Design, develop, test and implement AI-enabled use cases for data extraction and report production.
• Build End User Computing capabilities with documentation, controls and maintainability.
• Deliver tools, roadmaps, procedures and training with a structured handover and academic report.
