Coherent Corp. is seeking a Data Scientist in Zurich to develop production-ready AI solutions that improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

You will work with production and engineering teams to solve real-world challenges using ML, DL, and data engineering practices. You will design experiments, build predictive analytics, and integrate new data sources from equipment and systems into scalable pipelines across on-prem and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field.
• 3+ years of Data Science experience with production ML deployments.
• Strong Python, SQL, and ML/DL technique knowledge.
• Experience with ML platforms like Databricks or MLflow.

Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain ML models for manufacturing.
• Build predictive analytics to improve process performance and yield.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive impact.
• Design experiments to validate models and monitor performance.
• Ingest data from production equipment and shop-floor systems.
