Job Title - AI Automation Engineer
Working model - hybrid from Switzerland
Team - you will join the Automation Engineering team within the Automation department.
Level - Professional
Location - Chiasso, Switzerland (only for hybrid positions)
Contract - Permanent - full-time (EUR 36 h/week)
Build and scale n8n automation workflows.
Design, build, and maintain production-grade workflows on our self-hosted n8n Enterprise platform (AWS EKS), supporting business units across the company and helping grow our Citizen Developer / self-service automation program.
Support and extend our Company Context / Universal RAG Knowledge Base, including document ingestion pipelines, retrieval quality, and access governance.
Automation Platforms
Hands-on experience with n8n (or similar low-code platforms such as Make, Zapier), including self-hosted/enterprise deployments.
Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript.
Experience with LLMs (e.g. Claude, Gemini, OpenAI), prompt engineering, and building agentic workflows; familiarity with ML frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch is a plus.
Experience with retrieval-augmented generation, vector databases, and document ingestion pipelines.
Strong understanding of APIs, cloud-based infrastructure, and microservices architecture.
Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and the full software development lifecycle.
Comfortable working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), container tools (Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless architectures.
