Bucher Leichtbau in Switzerland seeks an Advertising Technician / Designer (m/f/d) to bring branding concepts to life on aircraft cabins. You will work with diverse materials, read plans, and assemble high-quality elements that travel worldwide.

You will handle honeycomb, polycarbonate, aluminum, perform adhesive and wiring work, and ensure all components fit perfectly according to checklists.

Qualifikationen

The area of responsibility includes the following tasks:

• A logo is more than just a logo – especially in an airplane.
• At Bucher Leichtbau, individual design and branding elements for aircraft cabins are created: 3D lettering, logos, high-quality surfaces, and illuminated design elements.
• Our solutions make brands visible in the cabin and give airplanes their own unique identity.
• As an assembly technician for branding elements, you bring these ideas to life.
• You process different materials, assemble precise components, and ensure that high-quality design elements are created from individual components that will later travel around the world.
• You give brands a face: You assemble individual branding elements for aircraft cabins and ensure that every detail fits perfectly.
• You work with demanding composite materials such as honeycomb and polycarbonate as well as aluminum.
• You carry out precise adhesive and assembly work and also handle wiring on branding panels.
• You read technical drawings and implement work instructions accurately in practice.
• You assemble various components and products from our diverse portfolio – always with an eye on quality and the necessary authorizations.
• You check your completed work against defined checklists to ensure that our high quality standards are met.
• You apply your craftsmanship where technology and design meet.

The ideal qualifications are:

• You enjoy precise manual work, have a good technical understanding, and an eye for detail.
• Technical training, for example in advertising technology, as a polymechanic, metal construction practitioner, or in a comparable profession.
• Experience in assembly and enjoyment of craft-intensive tasks.
• You can read technical drawings confidently and implement them in practice.
• You enjoy working with different materials and are open to learning new processing techniques.
• Basic PC user skills.
• Very good German language skills, both spoken and written; English skills are a plus.
• High quality awareness and a careful, precise working style.
