Fincons Group is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialist to join the Finance team in Lugano. The role covers Switzerland & international areas, with tasks ranging from matching invoices to posting GL entries and maintaining supplier data.

The ideal candidate brings 3-5 years in accounting, strong Excel skills, experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP), and excellent English communication. This is a full-time position based in Lugano, Switzerland.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience in administrative or accounting education/training.
• Proven experience in Accounts Payable and General Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and administrative/accounting processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems and accounting software (preferably SAP).
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.

Aufgaben

• Match and reconcile invoices with purchase orders.
• Review and validate invoices, request corrections when necessary.
• Post purchase invoices and general ledger entries; reconcile intercompany invoices.
• Maintain suppliers master data and process employee expense reports.
• Reconcile credit card statements and ensure supporting documentation.
• Assist monthly P&L analysis and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support annual statutory audit activities for assigned areas.

We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable & Accounting Specialistto join our Finance team in Lugano. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, expense reports, and financial entries while maintaining strong organizational and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable (Switzerland & International Area)

• Matching and reconciling invoices with purchase orders
• Reviewing and validating invoices, including requesting corrections when necessary
• Posting and processing purchase invoices (with purchase orders)
• Posting general ledger and intercompany invoices
• Managing electronic and paper filing of supplier invoices
• Processing employee expense reports
• Reconciling credit card statements with supporting documentation and recording transactions
• Creating and maintaining suppliers master data
• Managing and recording petty cash transactions
  
  
  

General Accounting (International Area)

• Supporting the monthly profit and loss analysis through adjustment entries, account corrections where necessary, and subsequent balance sheet account reconciliations
• Supporting the annual statutory audit activities for the assigned areas of responsibility
• Maintaining the fixed assets register for the assigned areas
• Liaising with other Finance departments
• Managing purchase requisitions (PRs) for Finance services
• Reconciling intercompany invoices
  
  
  

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experiencein administrative or accounting education/training
• Proven experience in similar roles within Accounts Payable and General Accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and administrative/accounting processes
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience using ERP systems and accounting software (preferably SAP or similar systems)
