Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Payment Manager based in Switzerland.

Join a growing international technology environment focused on innovative B2B solutions and payment services for global clients. In this role, you will support the onboarding of payment service providers, electronic money institutions, and banking partners, helping ensure smooth and reliable payment operations. You will coordinate documentation, manage partner communications, and track onboarding processes from initial application through account activation. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help resolve operational issues and maintain accurate, well-organized records. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys structured processes, takes ownership of responsibilities, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will also benefit from opportunities to develop your expertise, contribute to operational improvements, and grow within an ambitious international organization.

Accountabilities
  • Payment Partner Onboarding: Coordinate the onboarding of payment service providers (PSPs), electronic money institutions (EMIs), and banking partners, ensuring that all required steps are completed efficiently.

  • Documentation and Compliance Support: Prepare, collect, review, and submit applications, questionnaires, and Know Your Business (KYB) documentation in line with partner requirements.

  • Partner Communication: Maintain regular communication with external partners, follow up on outstanding requests, clarify requirements, and ensure timely progress throughout the onboarding process.

  • Process Tracking: Monitor onboarding statuses, maintain visibility over deadlines and outstanding actions, and proactively address potential delays or bottlenecks.

  • Documentation Management: Maintain accurate, structured, and up-to-date records of onboarding activities, partner information, applications, and supporting documents.

  • Daily Payment Operations: Support routine payment operations and help ensure that payment accounts and related services function smoothly.

  • Operational Issue Resolution: Identify, investigate, and coordinate the resolution of operational issues, escalating complex matters when necessary.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to coordinate requirements, resolve dependencies, and facilitate the successful activation of payment accounts and services.

  • Process Improvement: Contribute to more efficient workflows by maintaining consistent procedures, improving task organization, and identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary manual work.

Requirements
  • At least one year of experience in a similar role or a related operational position.

  • Intermediate English proficiency, with the ability to communicate effectively with international partners and handle professional documentation.

  • Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or financial operations is an advantage but not essential.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow several processes simultaneously.

  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, process-oriented approach to documentation and administrative work.

  • A high level of responsibility, reliability, and consistency when handling important operational tasks.

  • The ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and follow through on assignments without constant supervision.

  • Strong written communication and coordination skills, particularly when managing follow-ups and working with external stakeholders.

  • A proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to identify issues, take ownership, and seek practical solutions.

  • Comfort with routine but business-critical responsibilities, maintaining accuracy and quality even when handling repetitive tasks.

  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn, improve existing workflows, and collaborate with colleagues across different functions and locations.

Benefits
  • Fully Remote Work: Work remotely from a location in Europe, with access to company hubs in Kyiv and Warsaw if preferred.

  • Paid Time Off: 20 working days of paid annual leave, in addition to public holidays and sick leave.

  • Health and Wellbeing: Medical insurance with access to leading clinics and coverage for psychological support through the Pleso platform.

  • Flexible Benefits Budget: A monthly benefits allowance that can be used for personal interests, hobbies, sports, and other eligible activities.

  • Professional Development: An individual learning budget for courses, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.

  • Language Learning: Access to corporate English classes to strengthen communication skills and support international collaboration.

  • Mentoring and Career Growth: Structured career development opportunities, performance reviews, mentoring programs, and training resources.

  • Learning Resources: Access to an online library and a range of learning initiatives tailored to different professional goals.

  • Team Events and Community: Opportunities to participate in workshops, team-building activities, company events and social initiatives.
