Job summary

coni + partner ag, based in Zurich, seeks an Account Manager for External Asset Managers to deepen client relationships and expand an EAM portfolio. You will collaborate with Advisory, Research, Risk, and IT to tailor investment solutions and ensure high-quality client service.

Ideal candidates hold a Banking & Finance degree (HF/Bachelor/Master) with experience in EAM, and demonstrate a sales mindset, strong German and English skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• HF/Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance.
• AZEK, CFA or CWMA certification preferred.
• Solid experience in serving EAM clients.
• Proven track record of building new client relationships.
• Sales-driven with entrepreneurial thinking.
• Strong understanding of investment products across asset classes.

Responsibilities

• Support external asset managers (EAM) as Account Manager.
• Independently manage, expand, and maintain an EAM client portfolio.
• Develop solutions with Advisory and Research teams; coordinate with Risk and IT.
• Review and monitor client orders; monitor credit lines and maturities.
• Oversee administrative matters; ensure high service standards.
• Maintain professional communication and promote services.
• Ensure compliance with KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, MiFID, and cross-border rules.
• Plan and deliver training sessions; onboard new EAM clients.

Account Manager for External Asset Managers

Your Tasks:

• As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for supporting external asset managers (EAM)
• Independently managing, expanding, and maintaining an EAM client portfolio
• Supporting EAM clients in developing solutions and processes—both in collaboration with the Advisory and Research teams to create customized investment solutions, and with Risk Management and IT
• Reviewing and monitoring client orders
• Monitoring credit lines and investment maturities
• Overseeing administrative matters
• Maintaining professional communication, providing prompt service, and marketing the services offered
• Ensuring a high standard of service as the foundation for sustainable client relationships
• Managing retrocessions and associated commissions
• Periodically reviewing the EAM client portfolio, including the evaluation of EAM clients
• Continuous acquisition and onboarding of new EAM clients
• Regular review and optimization of the service portfolio and collaboration on the further development of marketing events
• Ensuring compliance with EAM clients based on legal requirements such as KYC/AML, FATCA/CRS, MiFID, etc.
• Advising EAM clients based on the bank’s compliance standards and in accordance with best practices
• Planning and conducting training sessions as needed.

Your Profile:

• HF, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance
• AZEK, CFA, or CWMA certification preferred
• Solid experience in serving EAM clients
• Proven track record of building new client relationships
• Sales-oriented mindset and entrepreneurial thinking
• Ability to identify and interpret client needs
• In-depth knowledge of investment products across all asset classes and the composition of investment portfolios
• Strong service orientation with a focus on fast turnaround times and high quality
• In-depth knowledge of compliance, including cross-border matters
• Integrity, initiative, a high level of commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility
• Strong interpersonal skills and an aptitude for multitasking
• Interest in giving presentations
• Proficiency with IT and Microsoft Office
• German and English.
