Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Economics.
• CPA or CISA is advantageous.
• Experience in funds middle office or asset management or fund service providers.
• Knowledge of Swiss and international funds.
• Experience with FINMA, FMA, CSSF or similar authorities.
• Interest in IT and process automation; programming in Python/SQL/VBA; database knowledge.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, proactive, and communicative; ability to work under pressure.
• Very good MS Excel knowledge; fluent English; German is a plus.

• Oversee data flows in the asset management middle office for the fund sector (CISA, ETF, UCITS).
• Lead and develop the team and set concepts and best practices.
• Supervise data quality, NAV calculations, fund key figures, cost transparency, PRIIP KIDs, and factsheet production.
• Contribute to valuation decisions and participate in committees.
• Collaborate with specialist teams and monitor regulatory requirements.
• Plan and implement optimisation projects; automate processes in Fund Operations.
• Handle ad hoc projects.

Team Leader Middle Office Control / Fund Operations

Your Tasks:

• Within the asset management middle office, responsible for the investment fund sector (CISA, ETF, UCITS), overseeing the reliability of data flows within the department and to custodian banks or companies providing outsourced fund services to banks or fund managers
• Responsible for concepts, specifications, analyses, best practice as well as leading and developing a team
• Responsible for supervising data quality, NAV calculations, fund key figures, cost transparency, PRIIP Key Information Documents, factsheet production and the preparation of fund reports
• Responsible for valuation decisions and involvement in committees and bodies
• Collaborating with various specialist teams and monitoring regulatory requirements
• Planning and implementing optimisation projects with internal and external stakeholders, as well as further developing and automating processes and services within Fund Operations
• Ad hoc projects

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Banking & Finance or Economics
• CPA or CISA as an advantage
• Professional experience at a Big Four firm a auditor or consultant in the funds sector, in the middle office of an asset management firm, or at a fund service provider
• Knowledge of Swiss and international funds
• Experience of working with fund managers and financial market supervisory authorities such as FINMA, FMA, CSSF, etc.
• Interest for IT and experience with process automation
• Programming skills, e.g. Python, SQL and VBA, as well as database knowledge
• Analytical and conceptual skills with a high attention to detail
• A proactive and communicative personality
• High-performing and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Service-oriented with the ability to pass on information
• Very good knowledge of MS Excel
• Fluency in English; knowledge of German would be an advantage.
