Job summary

Aiglon invites applications for the role of Deputy School Director in Switzerland. You will be a key member of the School Leadership Team and ELT, overseeing academic leadership, safeguarding, wellbeing, and boarding functions, while working alongside the School Director and other deputies.

You will contribute to strategic planning, curriculum review, staff development, and accreditation processes to ensure outstanding student outcomes and a safe, holistic learning environment.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience in a school setting.
• Proven ability to drive academic strategy and performance.
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and wellbeing.
• Experience with accreditation processes (CIS, NEASC, IB) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the School Director as required.
• Lead academic life and drive learning, teaching, and assessment improvements.
• Oversee school policies, safeguarding, and student wellbeing.
• Manage staffing, CPD, induction and performance reviews.
• Line-manage University Advising and Learning Support leadership.
• Coordinate accreditation activities and liaise with School Council.
• Lead school events, communications, and marketing materials.
• Ensure inclusivity, DEIJ compliance, and health and safety.
