Job summary

Aiglon College seeks a Deputy School Director (Academic) to provide strategic academic leadership across the school, guiding teaching, learning, assessment and university advising. The role supports safeguarding, wellbeing and the holistic education ethos in a leading international boarding setting in Switzerland.

The successful candidate will engage with the School Council and ELT, drive curriculum reviews, and lead initiatives to enhance student outcomes while upholding the school’s guiding

Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate teaching and learning quality across the school.
• Oversee academic assessment plans and reporting structures.
• Advise the School Director on academic policy and chair the Academic Leadership Group.
• Line-manage the ALG, Academic Heads of Departments and University Advising.
• Oversee Learning Support and monitor its provision.
• Analyse exam results and track student data for value-added insights.
