Zusammenfassung

Destinus is seeking a Flight Physics & Performance Engineer to develop and validate high-fidelity 6-DoF missile simulations. You will design and maintain simulation environments, implement flight physics and propulsion models, and ensure toolchains are robust for SIL, CIL, and HIL testing.

You will collaborate with GNC, Systems Engineering, Software, and Flight Dynamics teams to ensure model fidelity and align with system needs. A MSc in a related field and fluent English are required.

Qualifikationen

• MSc in a relevant engineering field is required.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.
• Proven experience developing and validating 6-DoF simulations.
• Hands-on experience with simulation toolchains and test configurations.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain, and extend 6-DoF simulation environments for missile performance assessment.
• Implement and refine flight physics models: aerodynamics, propulsion, actuators, sensors, and environment.
• Build tools for SIL, CIL, and HIL configurations and analyses.
• Define and decompose system and simulation requirements using DOORS NG or similar tools.
• Document modelling assumptions, equations of motion, and validation results.
• Create and execute test cases for requirement verification across SIL/CIL/HIL.
