Zusammenfassung

Destinus is seeking a hands-on avionics engineer to define the architecture, design hardware, and drive integration of flight computers, power systems, and electrical interfaces for our exo-atmospheric interceptor.

You will partner with GNC, propulsion, mechanical, and software teams to plan qualification testing and ensure reliable performance under demanding flight and storage conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on avionics engineering from architecture to integration and test.
• Understanding how vehicle-level electrical systems connect across subsystems.
• Rigorous approach to interfaces, reliability, and verification.
• Ability to collaborate in a small, fast-moving technical team.
• Experience with flight electronics and power system integration is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Own the avionics architecture, including flight computer, power system, and overall electrical architecture within mass, volume, and power constraints
• Design or procure flight electronics and integrate sensing, navigation, propulsion, and control hardware into a complete electrical system
• Specify and integrate the electronics supporting the vehicle's navigation systems
• Size and manage the power system and define electrical interfaces between vehicle subsystems, ground systems, and launch equipment
• Plan and execute avionics integration, interface, environmental, and qualification testing, analysing results against requirements
• Work across GNC, mechanical, propulsion, and software teams to resolve interfaces and drive vehicle-level integration
