UBS invites a paid internship candidate to join the Global Real Asset – Business Operations & ESG team in Zürich for a six‑month program. You will gain exposure to direct real estate portfolios across Europe, North America and APAC, while learning industry processes and collaborating with Investment Managers.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree and graduated no longer than 12 months ago.
• Strong analytical and financial background; interest in real estate.
• Fluent in English and German; other European languages are a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Real Asset – Business Operations & ESG team in day‑to‑day tasks.
• Coordinate across teams in Finance, Portfolio & Investment Management, and ESG.
• Interact with external service providers in different countries and learn major real estate processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and strategic project work.

Your team

You’ll be working in the Global Real Asset – Business Operations & ESG team in Zürich. We structure and manage direct real estate products and assets for UHNW clients. We manage today approximately 150 real estate assets throughout continental Europe, UK, but as well North America and APAC. The core of our team is in Zürich and London; with daily contact with our local asset management UBS Real Estate teams based in various European capitals (asset management, transaction, compliance...).

Your expertise

We’re Looking For a Candidate Who

• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than twelve months ago (bachelor's or master's degree)
• possesses good analytical and financial background and willing to develop its real estate and market knowledgeproactive, interested in real estate and willing to support in day-to-day operational tasks
• has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative
• fluency in English and German, any other European languages may be an advantage
• a good command of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

This paid internship will last 6 months, where you’ll work with our experts and learn about the industry, our clients and our firm. You’ll be right at the heart of our business, learning from your colleagues, taking part in day‑to‑day operations. You'll be given mentors along the way and will have the chance to get to know some of the most senior members of our teams.
