About the Job:

• Provides nursing care to psychiatric patients, both independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Enhances quality of life for patients and their families; collaborates with other healthcare providers
• Demonstrates continuous improvement and evidence-based practice in nursing
• Maintains and advances own clinical competence
• Participates in hospital committees, teams, and approved research projects as assigned

Our nursing schedules typically involve 12-hour shifts, including days and nights with rotating days off.

Effective April 1, 2024, the hourly wage will range from $41.42 to $55.91.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing
• Current registration with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
• At least two years of recent experience in a mental health and addictions setting, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
