Job summary

A premier Canadian bottling company is seeking a Merchandiser for their Richmond facility. Responsibilities include setting up machinery, operating equipment, and ensuring compliance with standards. The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, some work experience, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks. This is a seasonal, full-time hourly position with a rate of $20.60 per hour.

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of general work experience required.
  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
  • Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery and operate equipment, replenishing materials as needed.
  • Visually inspect production run and document results.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and ensure compliance with policies.

About This Opportunity

Coke Canada Bottling Production workers are responsible for general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and cooler service equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Set up machinery to ensure that all production materials are readily available.
  • Operate and monitor equipment, replenishing materials as needed.
  • Visually inspect production run and document results.
  • Determine and report malfunctions to appropriate parties.
  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and assigned area.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
  • Physical requirements include: Standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, climbing, crouching, bending, reaching and stooping.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-3 years of general work experience required.
  • Prior production/manufacturing machine operation experience preferred.
  • Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment
  • Ability to operate manufacturing equipment, complete repetitive tasks, while standing for long periods of time
  • Knowledge of industrial technology an asset
