Job summary
A community care organization in Ontario is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in clients' homes. The role requires a valid nursing license and strong communication skills to support client care and work collaboratively with healthcare teams. Flexibility in working hours and a valid driver's license are essential. This position offers a dynamic work environment with responsibilities including care management, documentation, and health teaching.
Qualifications
- Must have a License as a Registered or Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
- Experience in community health is an asset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provides nursing care to predictable clients with less complex needs.
- Manages care via an established nursing care plan.
- Documents all relevant information according to standards.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team for client care plans.
