We’re looking for an innovative and adaptable Senior Data Engineer to partner with our Analytics team to help us drive both growth and user acquisition. This team member will help move data into centralized locations and dashboards to support decision-making across the business. You'll Be...

• Building new ETLs to move data across systems;
• Managing and scaling existing ETLs;
• Designing databases and database tables;
• Building and managing container-based APIs;
• Consuming available APIs to orchestrate data capture flow.

You’ll make an impact because…

• You are a well-rounded data engineer with infrastructure and ETL experience;
• You have experience implementing data quality controls and metrics;
• You are proficient with SQL, Python, PySpark, and have experience with AirFlow;
• You have experience working with AWS cloud;
• You are capable and willing to wear multiple hats (building / maintaining infrastructure, authoring ETLs, troubleshooting production issues);
• You have experience moving large data sets;
• You understand the privacy and sensitivity of the data we work with;
• You are a self-starter who can operate with minimal guidance and resolve issues proactively;
• You are skilled at analyzing data to identify correlations and derive insights;
• You have a history of self-learning new technical skills;
• You have experience with data mapping, cleansing, and processing;
• You hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

In Toronto, the estimated salary range for this role is CAD $140,000-160,000. Actual salary will depend on location, qualifications, skills, and experience. This role is also eligible for our equity plan.
