Job summary

HSR Zero Waste is seeking a Zero Waste Consultant & Lead Auditor to grow our consulting work across Canada from Port Coquitlam, BC. The role combines field audits, client relations and business development with leadership of field teams.

The position starts at $50,000 annually based on a 24-hour workweek, with opportunities to increase hours and compensation as the portfolio grows. Flexibility includes home office, Port Coquitlam office, and remote work where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental consulting or waste management.
• Experience leading field audits and client interactions.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate waste audits and assessments.
• Lead onsite fieldwork and supervise waste sorters.
• Prepare reports and client presentations with clear visuals.
• Develop opportunities for waste reduction and program improvements.
• Support business development and client relationship activities.
