Carson Air Ltd. is seeking an AME Apprentice to join the Prince George maintenance team. You will work alongside skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, gain hands‑on experience, and continue progressing toward AME licensing in a professional and supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization (ATO).
• Previous practical experience as an AME Apprentice considered an asset.
• Commitment to completing apprenticeship requirements and achieving AME licensing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Positive attitude and professional work ethic.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Ability to work rotational shifts.
• Physically capable of performing aircraft maintenance duties safely.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced AMEs to gain hands-on maintenance experience.
• Support critical air ambulance, cargo and flight training operations.
• Exposure to diverse aircraft maintenance tasks across Western Canada.
• Mentorship from licensed AMEs to progress toward AME licensing.
• Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.

• Apprentice pay starts at $24.00 per hour, scaling up for experienced candidates.

Required Certification, Education, Experience, and Skills
