Job summary

Paradies Lagardère in Vancouver is seeking a customer-focused retail associate to greet, sell and service shoppers in a fast-paced setting. You will handle transactions at the POS, provide personalized product recommendations and uphold store standards.

The role may be part-time or full-time with evening and overnight shifts, requiring a Canadian Criminal Records Check. A high school diploma and at least one year of retail or customer service experience are preferred.

• Understands and complies with Cash Handling and Loss Prevention Standard Operating Procedures.

Position Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• Minimum one year of retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work various shifts in a 7/365 team orientated environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and an ability to communicate effectively using the English language.
• Self-starter able to prioritize and handle various tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and unexpected situations.
• Proficiency required in reading, writing, and mathematics.
• Ability to pass the Federal Criminal History Records Check, Paradies Background Check, and the applicable FAA requirements Department of Transportation requirements.
• Computer work, heavy lifting (40 lbs.), long standing periods, climbing lifting, bending, nights or weekend work, based in a store or group of stores, early morning, evening and weekend work and holiday.

Pay: $18.25/hour Part- time - 10:30 PM -6:30AM Part-time or Full-time

This position will require a Canadian Criminal Records Check (CCRC). This piece of documentation is a background check of your criminal history and can be acquired at your local police station. Are you willing to acquire a Canadian Criminal Record Check to work at the airport in this position?
