Title: YTU (Youth Transition Unit) Caseworker
Reports to: YTU Program Manager
Based at: Head Office; Community
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time (Evenings)
Pay Range: $17.00 - $21.00 based on education & experience
Hours: Afternoons & evenings, weekends optional
Description:
As a YTU Caseworker you will provide 1:1 support to a caseload of 4-5 youths, ages 16-21, as they work to build the life skills, healthy relationships, and community connections necessary to successfully transition to independence. You will identify gaps in resources and barriers to success then develop and implement case plans to support the goals that align with each participant’s unique vision of success. YTU Caseworkers are expected to comply with industry standards and best practices while adhering to all SCP mandated approaches, policies, processes, and protocols in the fulfillment of their role and completion of their duties.
