Covenant House Toronto is seeking a Youth Worker for the Rights of Passage program. The role is full-time, permanent and on-site, with shifts including days, evenings, and overnights across a two-week schedule.
The successful candidate will support youth in transitional housing, maintain records, and apply trauma-informed practices. Qualifications include a college or university degree in youth work, at least two years in a shelter, strong case management skills and excellent communication.

In this position, the candidate will be responsible for direct implementation of Covenant House’s philosophy, mission statement and policies as they pertain to transitional housing. We are currently hiring 1 Full Time, Permanent Youth Worker, this is a replacement position.
This position is Self Scheduling position requiring 8 shifts within a two week period, working more than 5 consecutive days straight. The successful candidate must work a minimum of 4 weekend shifts per month (Friday, Saturday, & Sunday). available shifts include days 8:00am - 4:00pm, evenings 3:00pm- 1:1:00pm, overnights 10:30pm- 8:30am. Shifts are schedules across Monday through Sunday.
