YFC Steinbach | Youth Unlimited is seeking a full-time Youth Worker to engage with youth in Steinbach and surrounding areas. The role focuses on building relationships, discipleship, and creating safe, welcoming spaces for young people.

Responsibilities include drop-in evenings, 1-on-1 mentorship, and community programs, with strong emphasis on faith alignment and integrity. A valid driver’s license and background checks are required; fundraising support is part of the role.

About Us

YFC Steinbach | Youth Unlimited is a faith-based youth organization dedicated to loving and caring for the whole person; physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. We create safe spaces where youth in Steinbach, Blumenort and the surrounding area feel valued, heard, and empowered to reach their full potential.

What You'll Do

Direct Youth Engagement & Relational Ministry:

• Drop-In: 2 evenings per week (6:00 PM - 11:00 PM), creating a warm, safe, and fun environment
• 1-to-1 & Small Group Mentorship: Build intentional, relationships with youth through weekly check-ins and discipleship
• Special Programming: Design, promote, and execute intentional programs especially during non-school days and times (PD days, spring break, summer) tailored to current youth needs

Team Support & Operations:

• Manage program admin tasks (meal planning, outreach invitations, debriefs, and youth updates)
• Share in the stewardship of our space; helping keep our youth drop-in center, green space, and facilities welcoming and clean for the community

Ministry Partnership Development (Support Raising):

• As a missionary youth worker, you will build and cultivate a personal team of financial and prayer partners who support your ministry. Note: You will receive hands-on training, coaching, and full organizational support from YFC to help you succeed in building your support base
• Participate in YFC Steinbach’s community fundraising events (Annual Banquet, Golf Tournament, Dinner Party)

Requirements:

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle (for local travel in Steinbach and Blumenort)
• Clear Criminal Record Check and Child & Adult Abuse Registry Checks
• Experience working with youth (camp, church, or community context) is a strong asset
