Status: Regular, Part time (union position)
Hours: 14hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 3:15 - 5:15 pm (possible work on Saturdays and evenings)
Wage:$29.17/hr to $$33.49/hr (starting $29.17/hr)

The Opportunity:
Working within our Youth Programs Department and in collaboration with Delta schools, the Youth Outreach Worker- Schools Out is responsible for the facilitation and delivery of a variety of group-based services supporting newcomer and refugee youth in their settlement and integration needs. This program runs during school time, from September to June the after-school programming role includes coordinating activities within the gym and library facilities, designed to engage and support the diverse interests and needs of our youth participants. Additionally, the Youth Outreach Worker will be conducting registration, intake, recruitment, orientation, and implementation of activities for new immigrant youth between the grades of K-7.
