Job summary

Youth Unlimited Edmonton is seeking a part-time Youth Support Worker to help run drop-in times and activities at The Core Youth Centre. You will mentor teens, plan programs with staff and volunteers, and assist with reporting, fundraising, and community outreach.

Flex hours mainly after-school with some evenings; position involves building relationships, coordinating volunteers, and representing a caring, faith-based approach in a supportive youth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Youth work education or experience is an asset, but not required.
• Leadership, enthusiasm and initiative are essential qualities.
• Ability to relate to youth and understand their culture and environment.
• Willingness to participate in networking and fundraising for the program area.
• Must have a vibrant Christian faith and be willing to sign the Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate youth drop-in times and activities at The Core Youth Centre.
