Position Summary: i9 Sports is currently seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable Soccer Referees for our Savannah youth leagues. As a Soccer Referee, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a high-energy, safe, and fun atmosphere for our young athletes. We are looking for individuals who possess a deep understanding of soccer, experience working with children, and a strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.

All games take place on Saturdays.

Responsibilities:

• Officiate youth soccer games in accordance with i9 Sports rules and regulations.
• Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of soccer rules and techniques to ensure fair and safe gameplay.
• Engage and communicate effectively with players, coaches, and parents, fostering a positive and respectful environment.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills to confidently manage games and provide clear instructions to participants.
• Strive to create a balance between competitive play and enjoyable experiences for all involved.
• Participate in i9 Sports Culture training to align with our mission and values.

Requirements:

• A solid understanding of soccer rules and gameplay, with prior experience either as a player or referee.
• Experience working with children in a sports or mentoring capacity is highly preferred.
• Punctuality and reliability are paramount; referees must be consistently available on all 7 Saturdays of the season.
• Possession of reliable transportation to ensure timely arrival at game locations.
• Professional appearance and demeanor when representing i9 Sports.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Physically capable of officiating fast-paced games and maintaining control of the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Individuals currently employed in other full-time roles, college students, and high school juniors and seniors are encouraged to apply.
• A verifiable history of reliability and commitment to previous roles.
