Soccer Shots Metro Vancouver offers various programs that run weekdays and weekends throughout the year. Programs currently operate in New Westminster, Ladner/ North Delta, Burnaby, and the Tri-Cities. We are flexible with scheduling based on availability; however, coaches are expected to commit to their assigned seasons: Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. Greater availability increases opportunities.

Job Summary

A part-time Youth Soccer Coach at Soccer Shots is responsible for studying the provided curriculum and teaching children each week. Strong time management skills are essential, as coaches must start and end sessions on time and cover all curriculum content. Maintaining class order is important for effective skill demonstration and children's understanding.

Qualifications

• Responsible: Arrive 15 minutes before each session, lead groups of 7-12 preschool or school-aged children, keep accurate attendance, and communicate effectively with Soccer Shots Directors.
• Professional: Maintain a neat appearance with proper Soccer Shots apparel, be friendly and courteous with daycare staff and parents, and be respectful to all participants and colleagues. Be accountable and self-assured.
• Enthusiastic: Enjoy interacting with children aged 2-8, connect with them on their level, and make classes enjoyable. Be outgoing, animated, and silly when appropriate.
• Experienced with Children: Able to engage and interact effectively with young children, with prior experience preferred.
• Soccer Experience: Preferred but not required.
• Must have access to a vehicle.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Compensation: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
