McMan is currently recruiting a Youth Resource Worker to join our Okotoks Family Resource Network team. The Youth Resource Worker will offer short-term individualized support, outreach services, and referrals to appropriate community resources.
Evening, occasional weekend work and the ability to be on an on-call rotation within the organization are a required expectation in this position.
The successful candidate will have:
- A Diploma or Degree in Human Services
- Experience working with youth
- Demonstrated initiative in establishing and nurturing professional relationships with community partners, proactively developing and leading youth-focused programs.
- Proficiency in providing crisis support, resource coordination, and comfortable with traveling—sometimes long distances—for outreach and service delivery.
- Knowledge and competence in serving diverse families
- Strong writing, organizational, program planning, facilitation, and interpersonal skills
- A strong knowledge of community and professional resources in Okotoks and surrounding communities
- Current standard First Aid Certification and Suicide Intervention Training
- Valid Driver’s license, reliable vehicle and adequate insurance coverage are required.
- A current Police Check and Child Intervention check (current within six months)

Salary Range:$54,193.00 - $60,215.00
