An established organization is seeking a dedicated Youth Outreach Worker to empower urban Indigenous youth and young adults facing housing insecurity. The Youth Outreach Worker’s primary responsibility is to support urban Indigenous youth and young adults (ages 18-29) experiencing homelessness or at risk of insecure housing, by providing responsive participant-based and one-to-one services. The Youth Outreach Worker will support youth and young adults in identifying, accessing and navigating adult service systems relevant to their housing needs and transition to adulthood. This position will use a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach and will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate services and support in consultation with individuals and partnering programs.
This is a full time contract position to June 30, 2025
